St. Andrews Tarabete Secondary School is uniquely and purposely designed to educate a future generation of leaders that will help shape a new Kenya in East Africa. The school is located in the Great Rift Valley, Naivasha sub county, Nakuru county, overlooking Lake Naivasha about 30km from Naivasha town along Moi north lake road. It serves a very poor community that is cosmopolitan and marginalized because of poverty and therefore many have no access to education. Although St. Andrews is a Christian school, we welcome students of other faiths. We believe in equipping our students holistically. Spiritual, academic, professional, vocational and artistic skills development will enhance their abilities, talents and special gifting. The school environment is designed to help them excel in life with an emphasis on leading a Christ-centered life of Biblical values. The school is endowed with committed teachers who nature learners talent in various co-curriculum areas that include football, net ball, hand ball, volley ball, music, drama, chase and athletic. The institution is offering 8:4:4 curriculum system of education with English, Mathematics, Kiswahili, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geography, CRE, Agriculture, Business studies, and history and government as subjects and exposes leaners to a wide career choice. The school has a population of 515 students as at 2019 and is projected to increase to 800 students in the year 2022. |
