Co-Curricular Activities St. Andrews responds to student interest in addition to the required sports programs. In 2012 these activities include a cookery class, wildlife and environmental conservation club, drama club, journalism club, music club, Girl Guides club, Scouts and a Christian Union Society. A student peer counseling and mentoring program was started by some students who recognized the need for sharing and emotional support for many of the students. Because St. Andrews believes in community, the students participate in community service efforts as well, assisting in clean-up days in Kasarani and organizing special events to promote the school.
Sports Programs St. Andrews has organized teams in netball, volleyball and football (soccer). Practices are held at the Loldia Primary School while we wait for the playing field to be graded and prepared. The enthusiasm for competition wtih other schools shows how our students want to excel and put St. Andrews on the map! In April, the girls netball team advanced through two levels to the County Division and lost that match. But the amazing thing is that they had never played netball - had about 3 weeks to learn and practice the game, and played with borrowed t-shirts in their school skirts! If you are interested in helping our sports teams by providing uniforms and equipment, visit thePartnership Opportunitiespage.

Drama and Music A drama club was formed 2 weeks before there was a district competition and our students rose to the second level! A music club was formed following the visit of a volunteer who came to St. Andrews with a mission youth team in 2010. She is a music major with musical talent herself in piano and guitar. Heather brought a guitar and presented it to a member of the music club, returned in 2011 to put together a Choir and they performed at a benefit fund-raiser for the school at Christmas 2011!

Community Service In 2011 and 2012 outside fundraising events by the students were combined with education and fun for the community of Kasarani and the residents on the road around Lake Naivasha.
The students conducted a clean up day in the community of Kasarani, assisted by the City Council who donated gloves, a truck and the Health officer who did a seminar on Health and Hygiene.
And they're off! Students organized a 25 km bicycle race to promote St. Andrews and win prizes!
Led by the Scout band and the guards from a flower farm, the entire school did a 15 k walk to raise pledges for their school.
